Table calibration is a hardware calibration that must be executed after creating new Windows users (Administrator & Standard Users) or possibly if the table position has changed (caused by moving or hitting the system). It must be executed by a Global Vision Support Technician or at the request of a Global Vision Support Technician.
Follow the steps below to calibrate your BraillePoint system's table position:
- Launch BraillePoint and log in with an administrator user name and password.
- Select File ⇒ Administration ⇒ Table Calibration.
- BraillePoint will execute a hardware calibration of the platen position in relation to the limit switches.
A small banging noise is emitted when the platen touches the back and side panels during table calibration.
